Signing an agreement on Vellum creates transactions on the Solana blockchain tied to that agreement. These are cryptographically secure records of who signed, when, and with what mechanism (i.e. a wallet address or email.)
Though we provide an option to sign in public, the default behavior on Vellum is for agreements to be private, even when signatures are public on the blockchain.
